Coaching Overcoming Inner Blocks Assumptions
Assumptions are another way that we hold ourselves from achieving or being who we want to be. Put simply, they are an expectation that because something has happened in the past, it will happen again. An example would be "I can never love again as my heart was broken in the past" or "I can't start a new diet as all the previous ones I have tried didn't work." The key is to recognize the assumption for what it is, question it, and consciously choose to let it go and take positive action. Easier said than done.
